Walter my male super pastel, only bp I currently have.

Recently got back into the snake game. Picked up a free Pastel from a good friend of mine, two weeks ago. These pictures were when I got her home, taken through the glass (sorry for the few scratches). I'll post more once she calms down, and starts to tolerate holding.

I should take more pictures with my good camera of all the snakes... One day I'll have a light tent! :P

By the way, for those iPhone users (maybe it's for android too, not sure though!) the app Snapseed is wonderful for editing pictures nicely. It doesn't have all the filters or nothing, it's more of a manual editing app. I love it.

You don't need a light tent. For my shots I used a large piece of white poster board taped to a wall to create nice bend in it for a seamless background.

@redshepard - I don't know how you do it, besides maybe your DSLR, but the contrast and colors on your pics always seem to pop or stand out to me.

ty, yeah she was so awesome and was going to be a dinker project, i was so upset that she escaped, i wish i would have found her, i searched everywhere but i think she found a way out of the house or something cuz there was no trace of her :( even left food out for her and nothing turned up

I only have my trusty iPhone 4S camera (yeah, I know, I still have the 4S... But shoot, it was 99 cents :)) so I don't have stellar quality pics like some of you guys, but I did take this one on Halloween that everyone seemed to really like. Even my family members who are creeped out by snakes thought it was nice, so I think it's the winner:

They came out great. iPhones and Samsungs can take great photos. Just need to know how to manipulate the light to your advantage.
