    Crested Geckos can eat fruits and stuff.

    As noted, a uro(mastyx) is a veggie eater. They require a very hot dessert env with good UVB. They stay fairly small (if you think a beared dragon is small). But need plenty of room (40gal breeder may do at first).

    Personally, I hate crickets and won't get them for my insect eaters. I have leopard geckos, water dragons, and a bearded dragon (or and a tiger salamander) all eating dubia roaches (primary) and super worms (secondary). Much easier to deal with than crickets (better in so many ways...).

    Crested geckos can be fed a diet of exclusively powdered "Crested gecko diet" mixed with water. It forms a paste that they eat out of a food dish.
