hey everybody-
i used to have a ball python, but gave it and all my supplies to a friend before my daughter was born. she's 6 now and loves animals of all sorts. from picking up bugs to trying to hug the deer at the drive through safari. she has kept a betta alive for quite awhile now and has a killer hermit crab habitat in her room and is always wanting more pets. we have a rhodesian ridgeback also.
so i was shopping craigslist for an extra aquarium for an isolation tank for new crabs, and came across a 6 month old ball "pithon" that had been on there quite a while, maybe nobody found him since searching python wouldn't match :P they were wanting 100 bucks for him and his setup. i wasn't there to look at snakes, but he looked like he needed a good home. i told them i would take him off their hands for free if they just needed to get rid of him. they didn't respond, maybe i offended. so then i told them, maybe i could do 50 bucks for all of it and they said ok. so... today i adopted sid. :gj:
he seems healthy and hungry, but not happy in his tank. but by the time i got home with him, it's too late to get any supplies. i swapped his heat light for a CHE i had and will hook him up properly tomorrow.
