bp has mucus coming out of mouth
Today while holding my bp, all of I noticed a drooly type substance on my hand, coming from her mouth. After touching it, I decided it was mucus. I was wondering if this is a sign of any problem? She hasn't been yawning and there aren't any bubbles in her mouth (it was a struggle to check), so I'm not sure if it could be RI.

I am leaving for college on Tuesday so if there are any other things that my parents should look for, please list them. I told my mom that if it didn't stop by wednesday that she should take her to the doc. This is the first time I've noticed it. She is still active and alert, and I'm going to try feeding tonight anyways, seeing as she's due. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I forgot to mention that her temps are usually around 90-93 on the warm side, 80ish on the cool side. I left the door open so i'll let you know in a few minutes what they are at today.

And when she was sitting on my shoulder/neck, I could feel a definite breeze from her nostrils, so it seems like her airway is pretty clear, but that might not be affected, so I don't really know if that's important.

Had she been drinking water from her water dish before you picked her up? Sometimes they get a little to much and it comes back out. I've had "watery-mucus" come from snakes without an RI. There's definitely a difference between that and the mucus from an RI.

she looked like she may have been earlier, but I'm not sure. Her temps are ok and it was pretty watery, not a very sticky mess, becuase it definitely dripped. She doesn't have the other signs for RI, but especially since I'm leaving, I want to make sure that I'm not missing something.

Bump up the temps a degree or two, sometimes that can help with an RI in its early stages. Wouldn't really hurt the snake to do so, either.

If she had drool tomorrow I would take her to the vet and have them run a culture. I have had snakes that just drank water and drool but buy tomorrow there should be no sign of that any more, if there is she may have an upper respitory infection.
