deShedding Tool

Despite our best efforts our Rottie mix Jasper is a shedding machine. So after talking to some groomers and seeing this tool in action we decided to pic up the "Furminator". I have to admit I had my doubts. They say this tool is for long and short haired dogs and cats.

So I thought I'd give my own review of it for those who might think about buying it.

Looks and Feel : I looks much like a toy, bright colors and oddly shaped. It feels very heavy and well put together.

Ease of use: if you can brush your pet you can use it.

Cost: they are a little expensive. we paid 56.00 for ours. So its not a trow away brush for sure.

Does it work.. Much to my surprise.. YES.. it removes loads of undercoat. I was amazed at how much hair was being taken out.

So if your looking for a quality product to help keep the dog shed down in your home I'd suggest the "furminator"..

These things are the BEST thing out there!!! I have one for my cats and dogs. I use it more on my cats who shed year round. I dont know what I ever did without one of these things.

I love my furminator too :D

I even made a vid on youtube about how to properly use one for friends that all asked me about them.

I DO have a question though.

The fiance seems to be allergic to these new guys, and we're doing what we can to help alleviate the symptoms.

It seems about equivalent to your link Al, it too has a HEPA filter.

ebay is even CHEAPER!! you can get a large one for 15 or even a little cheaper WITH shipping!

LOL I was looking at that vaccum as well. Funny!
