What should I use for my first enclosure?
I am hoping to get a ball python sometime, possibly in Oct. at the reptile show in Omaha, NE but first I need to get a enclosure made for him/her. I do have a tank (1'x3'x15") but I would rather use tubs since I have heard better comments about them. Plus I am not sure if the tank would be out-grown. So what would be the best to do? Stick with the tank or get tubs? And how big of tubs will I need to get? More questions may be posted xD

if all your getting is one ball python you could make a nice looking natural enclosure inside of a tank. i use tubs and tanks and like tubs better but thats just because i plan on breeding.

Wold the tank (I think it is a 30 gal. long) work for a male BP? Or would I need to get a bigger one later on?

a thirty gallon is a great size for an adult ball python. if he is still little i would get a 10 g and then switch over in a few months

personally, i would get a 20g. it will last a VERY long time, and u can add more foliage to give the BP more security, while making it last longer.
or i would get a sweet vision cage
i like the way this one looks:
