    not breeding?
My colony is 1.3, in a 10 gallon tank, food, water.
    i got 2 litters.

    first was 4 pinks.
second was 6 pinks plus 2 stillborns.

that was over a month ago and none of them look preggo.
i got them as adults, so could it be time for them to be fed off? and me get more females?

or new male? although from what i understood you cant really introduce new ASFs to a adult colony...

    idk HELP?
    lol

Sounds to me like they were already pretty much retired breeders when you got them. do you have any of the kids left? if so, set up a new breeding group with them. If not, feed off the parents and go buy some just weaned replacements.

Golden rule any time you are forced to buy adult breeders is to hold back the first kids you can and retire the ones you bought. No telling how old the adults are, or their history (how many litters, how many mates, what they ate, etc. )

yes, i held back 6 females from the parents.
i think im going to get 1 more female, and male from a friend who is also breeding them.

u say feed em off? lol
i think ill give them another couple weeks...
    if nothing, then snake food.
the babies from the first litter are just weaned...
just to tell u how long ive had em...
it hasnt been more than 2 months lol
