    Lester the Lesser
I've been lurking on the site for a while now and gotta say that there's some pretty knowledgeable people on here. So here's post numero uno for me.

Here's some pics of Lester the Lesser. He's and '08 and hoping he'll be up to size by October. Right now he's taking fresh killed small rats like a champ. He has the coolest personality of my BP's. He is extremely curious and not shy at all. He's never hissed or struck.

His color gets better and better and the blushing on his back looks like it's getting lighter. I'll be pairing him hopefully with my reduced normal female.

Can't decide on a female butter or bee for the future (probably both haha)

    :welcome:

That's a good looking Lesser you got. I would go with a bee first, Queen bees are too awesome.

Thanks for the welcome and thanks to Dr. Del on fixing my original post.

I'm really leaning towards a bee and will look for one at the Tucson show.

    Gotta love the possibilities:

Queen Bee (my favorite besides Kingpins)
    Lesser Bee
    Lesser Pastel
    Pastel
    Lesser
    Spider
    Normal

I've also been looking into ghosts but need to brush up on my genetics. If I were to pair him with say an orange ghost female would I be able to produce a hypo lesser right off the bat or would they all be either lesser het ghost and normals possible het ghost?

:welcome:!!!!!!!! Very nice lesser! I really like queen bees, so, if it was my choice, I would go with the bee. But you still cant beat a leucy!

BEL's are definitely in my future but I want to make my own instead of buying one so it'll be a few years.

Just when I find a new morph to drool over I come to the site and see new stuff almost daily that's its hard to keep up on all the new morphs.:rolleye2:

Thanks to everyone for the comments. To me he is perfect.

    No problem. :gj:

    If you paired him with a visual ghost female then the offspring would be;

Half lessers 100% het ghost and half normals 100% het ghost

Well statistically at any rate.

They would all be 100% het ghosts but each egg would have a 50% chance of being either a lesser or a normal.

    Does that explain it ok?
