Pretty much my question is: What are the pro's and con's of feeding and breeding Gerbils to/for your BP?

pros
easy to breed
prolific
grow fast
friendly
less smell than mice, rats or asf
cons
not as prolific as asf
snakes can become obsessed or picky and will eat no other prey
small groups are okay but gerbils can be aggressive to animals they are not raised with. Makes creating colonies tricky
expensive from pet stores
