Is it safe to let your snakes slither in the grass outside?
To me, it doesn't seem to safe because of the bugs and bacteria that could be in the grass. Plus, you never know if your snake is slithering right into a spot where a dog marked it, and there possibly could be pesticides in the grass (unlikely, but possible..). I wanted to take my snakes to the part sometimes in the evening when it is not so hot and let them slither around as they please, but just the things I thought of made me think it wasn't such a great idea, though, in many BP pictures I notice people's snakes in the grass and what not so it seems safe, but I'm always thinking of the possibilites that could happen.

So, would giving it a warm bath after being outside be fine? Just in case it took anything with it from outside.

After a few days of finishing up the King snake's meds and getting a big meal into him and after he defecates I want to let him around around at the park. He loves to slither around, and he's very adventurous. I bet he would just love it. I'm thinking of taking the BPs out maybe tomorrow or Wednesday.

Just keep in mind that the grass surface can be VERY hot on a hot day here, so I would recommend sticking to the shade :gj:
