    Burms In New York?
I live in new york and have always wanted a Burm... Yes, i have worked with them, and taken care of my cousins while at his house in Florida for 1 month...

But i heard that Burms are illegal in New York? I know all pythons and boas are illegal in city limits, but i'm in Long Island, New York... Does anyone have a Burm in long island? My local reptile shop has baby Albino Burms, which i might purchase, but they over price things a bit.. (Ex. a male albino ball python for $800)...

So let me know... I don't want to break any laws, because i don't want to end up on Fox News as "Kid Illegally Own Pet Yellow Snake"... LMAO:rofl:

Yea burms, rocks, and retics are prohibited to keep in NY. I belive you can get a permit to keep one but i higly doubt they would give it to just any one.

beside the burm, rocks and retics. Condas and Amethystine are also illegal. I do not belive that you can get a permit for them. and the shop on 107 is over priced on everything except his feeders ( imo ).
