Gravid females

Have any of you ever had gravid females keep eating very close to laying?

Some will, although I've heard it recommended to stop feeding them before then as the extra heat from digestion might cook the eggs, or the rat taking up space in there could give her problems with laying.

I've never had a girl keep eating once they get a week or two away from ovulating they all have quite eating. Prior to that they will just slam food.
