    Movies' Special Effects???
Is it just me or does it seem as if movies' special effects aren't really going anywhere. I really expected them to be constantly improving since technology is rapidly developing, but lately its seems almost as if it's gotten a tad worse.

The only two movies that I can remember for their amazing special effects are: 300, and Jurassic Park (all three of the installments - mostly the first two.)

What are your thoughts on this?

I remember when I went to see jurassic park I was amazed at how real the dinosaurs looked and moved and everything. That movie to this day is one of my favorites. I think they did really well with the transformers movies with the transformers. Although at moments it was so zoomed in you couldnt really tell what was going on.

Very true, Kinda forgot about Batman. I meant this summer's movies (yes I should have mentioned that, sorry been a bit scatter brained lately). I just saw X-Men Origins, aside from how bad it was, the graphics weren't the best either in few parts.

Are you talking about CG? Because with that, it all comes down to how much you're willing to spend.

its not just the effects are bad anymore. They have just make bad movies now and they keep remaking EVERYTHING. And nowadays if its not in 3d its not cool.

3D is such a cheap gimmick. Luckily most of the movies I go to see aren't in 3D.
