    JCP humidity question?
From reading a few caresheets on different sites, some say they need humidity to be high so they need a humidity level of 70%-80%. Others say it doesn't have to be high, and the humidity level can be from 40%-60%. So.. I don't really get it.. so whoever has JCPs or knows stuff about em', please answer that because I have no idea which is true or even if they aren't true. And also, what's the lowest the humidity level can go?

They do not need the ridiculous humidity some care sheets specify.

Agreed. I think you need to keep them like Rainbow Boas or something.

On Anthony Caponetto's care sheet of the JCPs, he says he doesn't touch the humidity at all unless they are in shed, then he bumps it up to 60-70%.

Anthony Caponetto's care sheet is a great one and I trust it.

My JCP gets misted up to 65-70% at night, and it drops to about 45% by the time I mist the following day. Never a bad shed, she eats like a champ, and she's always in a good mood.

    Just my experience.

although they can be good with humidity around 40% I highly reccomend 60%, its just more natural for them. 50% at the least.

my humidity is 45-55% year round and they're perfectly fine with no shedding issues... i would think anything over 60% is overkill and maybe even detrimental if other conditions (such as airflow and cleanliness) are not up to par.

    just my opinion......
