Thanks~. I've been wanting one for years but there's always a fish, snake, or piece of equipment that I buy instead! The only way I was ever going to get one was as a gift haha.

that first photo is stunning! from someone else's post, i gather it's a canon rebel XTi? is it your first DSLR?

Great pics and beautiful snakes:gj: looks like you're doing good with with your new camera too! It can take some people a little time to pick up and learn DSLRs at first but I'd say you've got it.
