    Unsuccessful locks
So Monday was cleaning day at my place.Normally I move a snake to an empty shelf or aquarium when I clean a tank this time I did something diffrent.I was cleaning my 1500g+ Female normals enclosure out so Went ahead and slipped her in with my 1000g+Male Lesser pastel since I've filled every Aquarium/tub/rack in my house with some type of herp.Well imagine my surprise when I open the rack up to put her back and they are locked up. NOw I know they are a breedable size but I havent cooled at all would it even be possible to produce eggs without cooling?

I left them together for the last 3 days and noticed them displaying breeding behavior(tails wrapped etc...) off and on but I could never tell for sure if he was.. Ahem.. "Hitting the right spots" Is there anything I can do to help this along or should I just wait until fall and cool them properly.Any advice/imput would be greatly appriciated!

Cooling is not necessary for breeding, as many breeders have proven themselves.

Some feel it is necessary to give a simulated change of season, but in africa near the equator there is no 'real' change in season.

Good luck and keep pairing them up.
