I have 1500 to start up a ball python project what should i jump into.
First off i like to introduce my self. Hi my name is ed I'm not really new to this forum as i have been here numerous time this is just my 1st account. Well I'm wanting to get in to ball pythons as i never really done it before because I'm more a boa guy my self. But there just some thing about ball pythons that draws me into them. But like i said 1500 is my limit for now. I might be able to get more maybe up to 2000. This will be my first time ever starting a project with them. I mean i kept ball pythons but never attempted to breed them. My problem is that i don't know what morphs to Begin with. With my budget. I mean i love every single morph there i just can afford them all right now. I'm leaning towards get get ready here is my list tell me if its good.

    males
    1 spider
    1 pinstripe
    1 pastel
    1 cinnamon
    1 mojave

    females
    7 normals
    1 mojave
    1 pastel

Do you think this would be a good start to geting a good project started?

Good group there Deb. I'd go for what she said and as 09's you could almost get them all for your budget

My opinion: Get a proven breeder pastel female, and a proven male spider. You'll be producing bees this fall, and be absolutely ecstatic. More isn't always better. ^_^

The first thing to do in my opinion is look at this as a hobby not a way get rich or make money. Second do you have funds set aside to house an maintain whatever you plan to buy? Not saying you havent, but alot of people wrongly think they will be making money hand over fist at this in only a couple of years. It just doesnt work that way anymore. After youve figured all this out, its pretty simple, buy what appeals to you the most. What are you going to enjoy looking at 15 years from now when they are all worth the same minimal financial price?
