    pre-killed mice...
my snake use to eat live, frozen, and pre killed mice but i decided to stick with frozen but just recently my snake wont take frozen anymore. and i dont want to take any chances for my snake to get bit so im feeding prekilled mice. i just want to know what is the most humane way to kill a mice fast and painless... i dont want to hit them against a hard object because i dont want to make a mess and i also think thats unhumane for me to do... any of you guys have any techniques i could try?

You could kill them with dry ice. I don't remember the link, but I do remember some instructions: Get a cooler, a small plastic cage with a lid with holes, dry ice, and mice/rats. Put the dry ice in the small plastic cage and the mice in the air-tight cooler, put the small plastic cage in the cooler, close the lid, in a few minutes the dry ice will give off carbon dioxide and kill the mice. I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Have you tried putting the frozen mouse in a zip lock putting it in a small tupperware container with hot water for 20mins then running it through hot water in the zip lock and trying to feed after it's nice and hot?

A c02 chamber is a humane way of killing feeders. I think there are in depth topics on how to make them in the DIY section.
