Ok well i have a 1200 gram pastel female that I didnt breed this year, she didnt drop any eggs. I guess i was wondering if I put a male in with her now is there any possibility of me getting a clutch from her this season?

1200 is a little small. I'd give her another year to put on some more weight. You'd likely only get 3 or 4 eggs from her if she did happen to go.

But its not too late in the season for her to ovulate and lay eggs? or can that happen any time of the year?

This is considered very late or out of the typical season breeding .They can be bred any time of the year - IF the right conditions are met. I have a female thats been locking up for the past month, nothing yet but heres hoping still.

It can happen anytime of the year. Most start either in October or early new year! But you can do it anytime just make sure you put the Balls into cooling and that should trigger them to breed when you put them together. But she is 1200g I would wait to next year to get a bigger clutch!

Thanks everyone for the information! I put the pastel in with the a normal male for now until the lesser is done shedding, there cuddling but ill keep a close eye on her! It will be interesting to see if she lays any eggs so ill keep my fingers crossed for another clutch this season! :please:
