live mice/rats south of San Fan?
I am scouting ahead, to find a reputable seller of live mice and rats south of San Francisco. Any info would be appreciated.

I usually get mine from Pet Club in South San Francisco (Westborough Blvd just west of 280). They have a breeding room for both feeders and pets, and usually have a very good selection... the reptile/fish guys are also fairly knowledgeable, and prices aren't tooooo bad. ;)
You could also go to Serramonte Pets at Serramonte Mall, but I wasn't so thrilled with their quality and selection. Petco & PetSmart have rodents as well, but they just sell you the pet ones - which are more expensive and only 1-2 sizes. Good luck!

Oh yeah - and if they're still around, you will probably want to check out Coastside Critters in Pacifica. I didn't have snakes when I lived out there, so I don't know for sure if they sell feeders... but they seem like the kind of place that would, and I always liked their products/service. They were so cool there, I got bags of free cat food when they found out I was feeding the local feral colony. :) Always nice to support the Mom & Pop shops, right?

Thanks! I'll definately look into those. I looked up Coastside online, and they seem to still be around. Thanks!

No problemo. And while you're at the plaza (where Coastside is), pick up a sandwich at Colombo's Deli... YUM!!!! :gj:
