What Do Your BPs Do At Night?
They're nocturnal and so are active at night. From what I've seen before going to bed, mine is a gymnast: Climbs the side of the tank vertically upward to the screen, as well as drapes itself over the AcuRite, temp/humidity dials, and the the tree hide. Most of the time, it's in that "L" shape climbing the sides. The next morning, it's back in its hide.

Do your BPs do the same thing? (What else do they have to do?)

mine do nothing. I guess they are just lazy.

Unless its feeding day, then they are all over the place....or staring at me..

If mine has recently eaten then they will stay in the hides, but if not then they are cruising up a storm... they particularily seem to like to get to the highest spot they can while it is dark,, and then by the time the sun comes up they are back in their hides...

My girl sleeps. Unless it's close to feeding day.
Sometimes she lays with her head outside her hide, watching and tracking movement.

Yes, ours is out of sight for 24-48 hours after eating.

A secondary question is what time do your BPs usually emerge for the night? During its first couple of weeks with us, ours wouldn't come out until way after midnight, and most nights I never saw it (and I'm a night owl). Now, in its 5th week with us, it's coming out earlier and earlier. First, before midnight, then around 10, and now these last few nights it's out between 7 and 8pm. I'm assuming (hopefully correctly) that means it's getting more and more comfy with its surroundings, and not that it's so miserable here that it's trying to escape.

What time do yours come out to play, and what do they do?

This picture of "the gymnast" was taken last night. (Does that look like a pink belly to anyone? It's faint, so we can't tell if that's the pre-shed pink, although it was definitely whiter a few days prior.)

Mine does that too, he will climb the side then wedge himself in the corner and stay there until he falls..lol. If he has eaten in th elast 2-3 days he will remain hidden, though.
