My beautiful boy

This is my heart dog- he's almost 12 years old, and I got him at eight weeks of age! He is a Whippet, and he weighs about 36 pounds and is 21.5 inches at the shoulder (smaller than a track racing Greyhound, but much bigger than an Italian Greyhound.)

Here he is today. He's is a retired champion lure courser and show dog, too, but above all he was, is, and always will be my best friend.

He's gorgeous!! We've got a whippet in my dog's agility class....very neat dogs! Thanks for sharing him! He doesn't look too happy about the pink sparkly outfit, though....that's akin to showing off your teenage son's naked baby bottom pics to his new girlfriend! :giggle:

Thanks! Haha, he's a cool dog. Laziest dog in the world, but that's what makes him such a pleasure. He doesn't do any of the barking, jumping, slobbering and so forth that most dogs do, and even genuine dog haters fall for him! He'll let me do anything to him! I have no idea how I'll live without him some day :(

Your dog is absolutely adorable - here is a picture of my couch potato - she is a Boxer and will be 9 this year - she is the light of my life.

I have a dog whose 13 and he's a German Shepard mixed with an Australian Shepard. When my sister got him, he was only like a month old or so I think. He was tied to a gate with his other brother and his mom, and he was infested with mites. Glad we got him, and he is a sweet dog.. but I just CAN'T STAND THE BARKING!! Lol. He barks to loudly at every little or big noise he hears. He'll be turning 14 in sometime in late January.
