    going out of town?
I would like to get into leopard geckos but what do you do if you go out of town for the weekend or something, since they do need daily care? do you just leave extra food in the enclosure for them?

If you leave for the weekend, feed them really well on fri. with like wax worms, then leave a few crickets in with them.

I have a dish of mealies available at all time with water dish so nothing different when I go out of time I just make sure both are still full ;) and I check their humid hide.

Going out of town for a week with a Leo is not a problem at all. Leos can go for weeks without food, and when they really need it, they will eat their poo.
Just leave a dish full of mealworms and a few crickets and your leo will be fine.
