    how can i switch my balls to rats from mice? i tried to feed rats this weekend and they wouldnt take them. as soon as i put mice in they ate them up.

    Well some snakes prefer mice instead of rats, and others prefer rats instead of mice. Your snakes probably will only take mice, but I would still keep trying to offer rats every now and then.

    yeah just like tiffany said, some just dont like rats, u can try senting the room with a mouse and then feed a rat.

    You can also try rubbing the rat with a fresh mouse corpse. :)

    This is exactly what you should do. Try to get some of the mousey smell on your rat. Sometimes you have to trick your snake into trying new things, they they find out that they like them! They're just like children in that way.

    for me to lessen the complication of switching.. i feed them mice than rat. the next week, rat then mice. then the next week, mice then mice. then other week rat, and rat. it makes them confuse so they will strike whatever is dangling in front of their faces.

    how big is your ball? im having a hard time feeding mice on a 600-gram ball.. the hard time is 4 mice no buldge.. aiks..
