That poof ball does look pretty odd. I used to have a long haired calico that I'd get shaved every summer, but they always left her tail completely natural. Once in a while though they did leave a big ruff around her neck like a lions mane that looked kind of odd on such a small cat. At least she was a pretty good sport about it and never threatened to kill me, however in your case it may be justified. :rofl:
