    Fair Enough?
I'm strictly a hobbyist, not a breeder. I just don't feel like I have the experience or know-how to start breeding my bps. However, I plan on loaning some females to a friend next year. Have any of you ever done this? What would be a fair arrangement?

I was thinking that, since he will be incubating the eggs, and taking care of the hatchlings until post-shed and post-fed, as well as handling shipping for any that are sold, maybe he should get first pick from each clutch? Or maybe a 60/40 split? Both? I dunno

i think he should get first pick because of his time, but you guys should 50/50 cost and profit

I agree with above. Although I lone. We do 50/50 but the owner of the Female gets first dibs usually :)

I will be breeder loaning a fire female to a buddies fire male.. So we WILL be getting BELs.. or better :D So then it gets tricky.. If we pop one bel...?

I am very inexperienced, but I would say he should definately get first pick since he is taking care of all the eggs and stuff.

50/50 split with the care-taker getting first pick for the extra work. Unless the females are bigger morphs, and there's some other arrangement, generally that's the way I would work it.

Write the deal down, signed copies. It will avoid unpleasantness later on, should someone forget or misunderstand. Having the deal in writing is the safest way to avoid fights betwen friends!

How would it work then if the females were returned after an ovulation and the eggs were incubated by the females owners? Meaning all the friend did was house her and feed her while she was breeding.

Yea I'd go for 50/50 or just pick of the litter!
