Reptile Show Prices

I wanted to pick up one or two females at a reptile show in November but I was wondering how show prices compare to online prices?

I honestly have no idea but you should consider the fact that online prices are cheap but shipping is $40-50 most of the time.

I would say you get cheaper at the show but not always. it just really depends on the show and who you are dealing with

I can say yes.. some can be if you can work them down..i dont dress real nice or wear any jewerly...dont tell people what you have if thay know you have a lesser that you need to breed well that sometimes will tell the seller that you will pay 350 for that mojave he has that you want...also the last day deal is always a good way to get the best bang for your buck.. just go in to the show late on the last day looking like you just hoped out of a gold plated lambo.. show some $ ask how much for the tablel? i have seen this happen...
I like the first morph snake line...i got a nice spider for 200 like this befor...
Some people just want move and sometimes you got to pay for what you want. but the show is a good place to get a deal

Show prices depend on so much. the vendor. (someone with a big shop and high overhead on a private breeder looking to move a few animals) .where the show is. what time of year. how many other bp vendors. what are their prices. what you are buying etc... prices can be higher or lower than the internet.im sure your looking for some good prices as i am also.

As a vendor. customers typicly ask me "what can you do for me on this" or something like that and i give a price with what i consider a reasonable discount. and 99% of the time they are happy with that.

my advise is to be educated on what market value is on an animal is. set a price in your head that you will be happy with and go for it. if they say yes good for you. if they counter offer its on you now. use your head and dont be insulting by asking for an absolutely silly amout off. dont be afraid to talk to the vendor and establish somewhat of a relationship. i think most vendors will be more willing to work with you if they like you LOL. good luck let us know how things go. Cash no reciepts always triumph. At a reptile show the prices are usually a few bucks cheaper, but then add the fact you don't have to pay shipping. What you do is asking what they want for the snake, then throw them an offer. I wanted a snake at one of the reptile shows, I asked what he was asking and I believe they said $70, I said would you take $60, and I show them the money, maybe even let them smell it a bit, you know, pre-scenting ;). Then if they say yes, you buy, if they say no, well you say something along the line: "I guess they're price was a bit better then." Nah don't say that but you know, sweeten it up. Don't be cocky or low-ball because i've sold stuff like a ps3(80gb) with the hdmi cables for $250, when the ps2 is $399 brand new. I had some guy call and said: "I'll give you $200 on monday." I replied: "F* you" and hung up the phone. Then he called monday and said $250 then, and I said for lowballing me the price is now $280.
