Our first shed!

Our adult BP I'm sure has shed many times, but this was "our" first as snake people!

Romeo did not even come out of his hide. Today was feeding day, and after removing the hide, there sat the old skin. We unrolled it right down to his head and we could even see where the eyes had been! All in one piece. And the pink belly is now back to his off white.

Our humidity has been running between 50-60%. After he went blue, we went 70-80.

We made it!:banana::banana:

congrats, my snake is a bout to shed anyday now, last time it wasnt a full one, this time im misting the tank more often.

Ours shed for the first time a couple of days ago. Quite fascinating to watch!

We had wanted to watch, but expected him to come out and rub on something. Next time a webcam after he goes blue!

I added some shed pictures to the thread I started about witnessing a shed a couple of days ago. Perhaps you'll get some pictures next time. :)

I managed to catch Toby's last shed on film, but it took him so long I couldn't get the whole thing. Pretty cool to watch, though...
