    Sealing wood, t-stat
I just built my new rack from blondewood and whitewood. I wanted to know if my snakes will be safe (in terms of harmful vapors) in this rack without sealing it? and if i should what should i seal it with? i know i need to add a back piece but im waiting for my flex watt and t-stat. What is a good t-stat to start with if i have plans on doubling my collection before the years end? any suggestions please i wanna get my tubs in and start consolidating some space so i can have room for more :D

I would seal it anyway. If it gets wet it will be a pain.
Pine and Cedar are toxic to ball pythons so as long as the wood isn't that you are fine.

I would recommend getting a herpstat if you are going to be doubling your colection. Well worth the investment.

You can get pretty much any water bourne clear coat for stain. Let it air out a couple days and it's fine. As for a t-stat, herpstat is a good one to look at.
