    I have a male and female and i was just wondering what the breeding weights were for males and females before they start breeding!!!! Because they have been in there for about a month and STILL not one baby!!!

    Males and females are sexually mature around 5-6 weeks of age. However, it's recommended to breed female at 250 grams, which is right around 12-15 weeks of age, sometimes sooner, sometimes much later if the females are just small.

    If they aren't producing, you may have a dud male, or a bossy female.

    no clue on weights....3-4 months sounds about right...

    cheap diet = little babies

    good diet=fat beautiful babies

    remember,these are rats. Between my rats and insects I don't throw away any veggies, breads or raw or cooked pastas. My animals have become my own little recycling bins.

    They love scraps.
