I'm not supposed to talk about it until it happens but if I don't tell someone, I will bust a gut!!!!!!!!
For those of you who don't know, 3 years ago I got a gorgeous male hypo lavender motley from someone who didn't know anything about corn color morphs (I didn't at the time either) and she told me he was a "lavender ghost" and sold him to me for $40.
Then I found out what he truly was, and now see him as an adult and he is enough to knock your socks off! I've been looking for a female to mate to him, in hopes of reproducing his coloring and pattern.
I finally found one!!!!!!!!!! Middle of next week I will be ordering a female lavender motely that is het to hypo.
So now all I need to do is be patient for 3 years....................

He won't suffer. I have a normal adult female lav that he gets to breed with this spring. She is a beautiful girl, one of the sweetest temperments that I've ever seen, and she has unknown hets so who knows what we will get. There is also the plus that this will allow him a practice mating, and more importantly, allow me a practice clutch and give me my first chance at dealing with eggs, pippies, and hatchlings.
By the way, I just got an e mail, she will be her on Tuesday, August 4th!!!!!!!!!!
