    Do leos hibernate
I was just wandering do leos hibernate? My female is almost always in her moist hide. I see she has a little shead on her toes. but does that mean she should be in her moist hide most of the time. even at night she eats and goes back into it.:)

I believe they can lose their toes if stuck shed is not removed.

As to the hibernating, I am not sure, however I would advise also posting in a gecko dedicated forum.

If you turn off their in cage heating they will hibernate for the winter if you wish to do so. At 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit they will eat and drink very little through the winter months. Any colder than that is too cold. It is not necessary to do this. I do not put mine into hibernation. It is not necessary to cool them for breeding either.
