    Shedding
I have had my BP for 3 months now and hes about 30 inches long I was wondering how quick they shed? He shedded about 2 1/2 weeks ago and now from his head and 3 1/2 inches back is not done shedding yet, now his belly is getting that pinkish color and looks like hes going to shed again. I was just wondering if it would be fine if he shedded over the old skin?

That seems way too long. Refer to the Stickies at the top of the generalBP section about shedding.

I think you should help your snake take off the old skin that he didn't shed, before he starts shedding again, just to prevent any problems from occurring.

Use a damp pillowcase and put the snake if for 10-15 minutes. Tie it closed.

You need to get the stuck shed off, it can cause problems if left too long.

The best way to prevent this in the future is to moniter your humidity and make sure it is 50-60% and 70% during shed. Sounds like you don't check your humidity levels.
