    Odd behavior. Any input appreciated!
My big normal girl seems to be having difficulties taking food. Recently she has been a great eater on f/t.

She has been having difficult time striking and constricting. I thaw the rodents in warm water then heat them up on a heat pad. When I dangle a f/t mouse or rat in front of her hide, the same as always, she darts out as if to strike it and retreats. It's like she jabs it with her nose then shoots back into her hide only to do it again a few minutes later.

Any ideas? The rodents are warm. She just came out of a shed, so that can't be the problem.

I'm really starting to worry. Any input is much appreciated!!

Sounds normal to me. Some of them are just shy feeders. When my snakes are in that kind of mood I just leave the prey item in the cage with them and they usually start chomping when I am not looking.

It really isn't anything to worry about.
