Re: Escaped garter! Help!
Good luck, sounds like my watersnake. Levi, went and escaped somehow last week and I haven't been able to find him. Good luck on finding him.
Re: Escaped garter! Help!
Way back when I had my garter he got out. I was young and had no idea he could push open a lid on a 20 gal tank. Well, long story short, we couldn't find him. A month later I'm watching TV in my room, and I see something come out of my closet! It took a second to process, but it was him. He'll turn up eventually. :)
Re: Escaped garter! Help!
I had a gartner snake get loose in my room when I was little. It was missing for a few days then I found it under my bed. Try looking in places that he could hide (under furniture and in cracks)
Re: Escaped garter! Help!
the one thing I hate about my garters... when one escapes the little bugger can go ANYWHERE!!! I have had success using flour as an aid. spoon piles of flour up against the walls of any room he might be in at random intervals. Especially on both sides of doorways. They like to crawl around up against the walls. When they run over the flour it flattens in so you can see that they have crawled through it. This will help you narrow down where to search. you can also sprinkle flour on the floor like a fine dust so you can see any trails the snake might leave behind!!!
Re: Escaped garter! Help!
also, leave plastic bags laying around, once again especially up against the walls. They make a lot of noise!!!
