    Hygrometer?
    Hey, all!

In past years I have always used AcuRite digital thermometers / hygrometers. With my collection rapidly growing, I purchased a tempgun.

So I'm in the business for digital hygrometers. I'd like one that is more accurate than the circular ones at pet store, but it doesn't need to be accurate to the %. I'd like something cheap, too, as I am tight on cash and I need quite a few of them.

I just have one of those flukers digital thermometers/hygrometers. If you have identical tub setups, you should only have to monitor the humidity of one tub. I switch it to whomever is shedding at the moment.

Yea I have never seen a hygrometer that can monitor more than one or two humiditys at once, I have always swapped my sensors between tubs if I got curious.

The problem is that I have different setups for all of the snakes; mostly because I keep different species. AP cages, glass tanks, tubs with holes.... I need separate hygrometers for each enclosure. And all of the different species need different humidity levels.

    Hi,

Wouldn't the most cost-effective method be to buy a couple of acurites and mod them so the hygrometer was on the end of a wire like this MOD?

That way you can easily move it from tub to tank etc as needed.

Thanks! That's a great idea! Looks a bit too complicated for me, lol, but I have some friends that could definitely pull that off. :)
