Need a good vet to teach me probing(Tampa-St. Pete area)
I want to learn correct probing and popping techniques from some one qualified. Doesn't have to be a vet, just a guy in my area that can show me correct probing and popping techniques (plus I want to
re-sex all my snakes to double check) and buy a set of probes.

I've called some vets that even advertised exotics and had no idea what I wanted done.

Anyone know a guy in my area(I know there are some Floridians here) or a good list of herp vets besides the yellow pages?

    Thanks

I don't think youtube can teach you how to properly probe a snake. :/

True,I really wouldnt trust a youtube video for something that could potentially cause harm to my balls. your right kaorte maybe its best if somebody showed you in person. but there are some videos on youtube that give you a basic concept on probing. Than again I did stay at a holiday inn last night.....

Yes I've looked at the YouTube vids and think I've got a pretty good idea of how to pop (I've seen it done in person a couple times too) but I dint want to take any chances with something that may harm my snake.

I learned to probe from youtube. Ralph Davis's video is what taught me. The key is to be super gentle. I practiced on my known males and females. Popping is the PITA for me. Im scared to hurt them. Probing is super easy once you get the hang of it.
