Perhaps. :P Mine both wear their hides as hats. I just let them though. They still eat and hide in their hats. As long as they keep using them, I will keep them in there :P

x2^ Both of my males are bigger than that compared to their hides, but they still chill in them and eat every week.

Looks like instead of a new bigger hide, you should get the same size but increase the height. My bp does this every time but his hide is perfect for him and that also he piles on top of himself which makes his hide come up off the ground.
