    Problems with YAHOO mail.
Well I have been using firefox for about 5 years....ok maybe 4....I have also had the same Yahoo email for about 5 years.

For some reason, now whenever I click on my inbox, then click an email, it freezes my Firefox. If I look into the Task manager, Firefox will be pulling 300,000+k and I have to manually end the task.

    Any suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions, only to add that I'm a Yahoo/Firefox user too, and every now and then the hard drive will start spinning like crazy. Taking a look at the performance stats, it's Firefox that seems to be the culprit.

A new Yahoo mail problem that recently started (after years of using the same setup) is that occasionally an incoming e-mail doesn't download from Yahoo to our Thunderbird e-mail. Never had that problem when using Netscape, but when Netscape ended it was continued with Firefox.

I paid the $20 and set up my Yahoo account as a POP account on my Mail app. I don't use the browser based one any more.

Did it start happening when you upgraded to the latest FF? and have you checked to see if there is a FF upgrade available?

It could also be one of your Add-ons that is screwing everything up... boot up FF in Safe Mode
