    Quarts/Gallons
Okay, I'm a little confuzzled (confused/puzzled) and flusterated (flustered/frustrated) about the quarts in tubs and the gallons in aquariums. I've heard people say that a 41 quart tub is appropriate for adult snakes, but everyone knows that for every 4 quarts there is 1 gallon, right? Theoretically, a 41 quart tub is only 10 gallons. Can y'all clear this up for me?

41qt tubs are only 6" high, but they are about 34" x 12" on the bottom. Since bps are terrestrial, all that extra head room in a tank is wasted.

That be the answer. My 41 qt tubs have more floor space than my 30Gal aquarium does, even though it has only about 1/3 of the total volume.

Now if my snake grew wings, gills, or legs then we might have an issue :D

Wow! That really helped. Thanks, guys. Yeah, ya got to watch out for the sudden development of limbs in bps; it can be a real hazard! Lol.
