Oh they are too cute! I was checking out Chins last year and found a website of a breeder here in Ohio. Until I saw her site I was not aware that they come in such a variety of colors. Yours are just lovely and obviously well cared for and loved.

I've owned chinchillas for the past 10 years, and just 5 years ago did I know about the mutations. There certainly are a lot of them. Sadly my other 2 mutes passed away 2 months ago, along with my oldest chinchilla Schroeder(13). :( I had a giardia outbreak, and after dealing with moron vets, I finally got someone that got them better, but after having losing my other 3. :( But my remaining seven are even more special to me for this very reason!

So cute!! Those are some really nice looking chinnies! I'm especially partial to the PW, and I LOVE the little spot on the mosaic :)

I'm so sorry to hear you lost two of your babies from Giardia. May I ask what you did end up treating them with?

Wow, I didn't even see this. Well, it's old, but I shall respond anyways.

I treated them with Flagyl first(It takes more than one treatment to get rid of this bug). After treating them with the Flagyl, I lost one more chin. I took them to another vet and he prescribed Panacur, and sure enough, that cleared them of it! I just hope that I never have this again. I think they picked it up from the chinchilla show.

I didnt know they were white too! wow. LOL I love the one with the black spot on its head :D
