What's the most you would pay...
For a VERY nice male spider hatchling? I ask because I was at East Bay Vivarium today, and they had this adorable tiny spider BP... he was priced at $350, which seemed pretty steep to me. They said "you pay for quality," and I know they have really well-bred snakes - but isn't that kinda high anyway? I'm too broke regardless, but was just curious since I'll be getting one eventually. ;)
Re: What's the most you would pay...
Well, the Spider at one of my local reptile stores was the same price. Though, I can purchase one fat a reptile expo for a hundred dollars less than that.. maybe even lesser than that. If the Spider has beautiful coloration, has no sickness or parasites, and is nicely rounded, I would say that's a fair price.
Re: What's the most you would pay...
I've mostly seen them for around $250, but just noticed 8Ball charges $350 for a male hatchling... so I guess it isn't that high for a good one!
Re: What's the most you would pay...
its not too bad of a price, posting a picture might help. Ive seen some smokin spiders for 250$ though
Re: What's the most you would pay...
I've seen spider males at $300 average so 350 isn't that unusual. I think that's the maximum I would go though.

Re: What's the most you would pay...
If its the hottest spider you've seen why not.
Re: What's the most you would pay...
Honestly, for a VERY nice one that I liked very much, probably pay what theyre asking, and from what Ive seen thats anywhere from 300-400.

Thanks for the responses... wish I had taken a picture, but alas I did not. :( He was pretty smokin', though - very light color, clean pattern, and only one tiny spot. Super cute!

Honestly, in my opinion...you cant go wrong with a spider. EVER. Just sayin. They are outstanding any way they are.
