A Little Eggy Problem

I'm at day 56 on the corn snake eggs, and I'm taking some of my animals to a children's nature camp from the 27-29 or so. So I'm slightly concerned with the eggs.
I thought maybe I should bring them with too? But will the car ride/carrying the eggbox cause issues with the yolk/air pocket?

What would you do??

These are the eggs I'm talking about. Currently 8 are healthy and well out of 12 that dried out before I received them.

I think you should be ok with leaving them alone at home while you are gone. All my eggs didn't hatch till a day after the hatch date or on the hatch date.

So for 60+ days, and you being on 56.. you have four days atleast to play around with. So you should be ok with leaving them.

Have they started to dent in and get lots of humidity in the incubation tub ?

There is definitely a lot of humidity going on.
But theres no denting.. they are getting an almost off-white yellow tone to them though. It doesn't look unhealthy but I don't know if it means anything.

So if they haven't hatched and I have about a week an a half before leaving, what should I do? I'm worried they'll hatch the day I leave and escape the incubation tub or something.

Just leave them be. They'll be fine. If you're worried about them escaping just make sure the tub is secure and they can't get out. You'll only be gone 3 days, so its no biggie.

Should I put little bowl of water in there just in case they hatch?
I know the humidity won't be a bad thing, but would the perlite cause any problems or irritation? Should I put the eggs on paper towels before I leave?

They should be fine in the tub in the incubator. They won't need water or food or anything for a few days at least.

Thanks everyone, I'm much more reassured now. I'll make sure to post pictures when they hatch. Wish me luck, I hope I'm able to be there to see them hatch out. :oops:

I bet you will be. They always have a nasty habit of taking longer than you expect and making you that much more crazy!!

For comparison, my first clutch to hatch this year pipped on day 80...

So don't get too set on when you think they will hatch or it will makeyou crazy!
