    she is stressed.
Recently my ball python had escaped...it is a long story and something weird is going on I do believe. new roomate who I don't trust. My snake was found by the new roommate, but ever since my snake has been back she has been acting very weird. Very stressed out. I know this new roommate won't leave her a lone and has repeatedly tapped on the cage and I have asked her to stop, and will be enforcing this.
Tonight I took my snake out and for the first time she actually struck at me, gave me a warning strike, but still hit me with her fangs. Is there anything I can do to calm her down??? I even have walked up to the tank and she darted away to her hide. I don't know whats going on. But I want to get rid of this new roommate hah.

where is the tank in the house/apartment? I would suggest if the tank isn't in your room, move it in there and put a lock on your door.

Leave the snake alone for a week or two.

I think it would be a good idea to not handle your snake for a while... at least a week. If he/she is in a glass tank, try covering up the back and two sides with black paper. Add some extra hides or vine like things for cover. Definitely talk to your roommate and make her/him aware of the fact that you don't appreciate her messing with your snake.

As far as the striking goes... someone else could handle that part better than I.
