Oversized Testicles?

Today for the first time in my life I saw my first ASFs. Some looked just like rats, Alot of others looked like something else, not mice, not rats. Even some of them I though were very cute lol.

Anywas to get back on track, I saw 2 big ASFs that are supouse to be males according to the owner. I say supoused to be, because their testicles (or were testicles would be) were huge! It looked to me like they were even out of proportion to their bodies... Is this normal?? :confused:

I didnt buy any yet, and thats one of the reasons that I didnt yet.

Rats have very large testes. Both ASF and rats have very prominent jewels. ;P

Males that have to mate repeatedly and with numerous females in rapid succession tend to have these sorts of best bits. :)

That's how I pick my future male breeders (ASF's or regular rats) by seeing how's got the biggest butt pillows at the youngest age.

I'll keep that in mind for the future if everything goes well with my ASFs. Everyday I learn something new here. :D

Hey it's still funny to me when I'm checking out young male rats at a store or show and wondering if people think I'm crazy. All I know is the boys that develop that way when they are young are always my best male breeders. You might say they are just built for the job. :)
