    This is purely a curious question. But does anyone know what species of venomous snakes are legal in Utah?

    I am pretty sure all of the venomous species are illegal here in UT. Unfortunately that includes gilas and beadeds as well as rearfanged species like Boiga. Sorry.

    I am in south salt lake myself but I work in sandy at comcast. I saw a mangrove snake on ksl.com that someone said was legal and they are slightly benom i think but I am not versed heavily in hots so. I may be wrong.

    Hey with that list you posted is p=permitted? because if so then certain hots are allowed. I am trying to figure out the legend for this chart

    Yeah, not sure why they didn't include a key. P=prohibited.
    On a side note, make sure you check out Utahs only expo in Sept or Oct.
