I just bought a tub for my baby BP and I have a zoo med UTH under it. Should I be worried about it burning the plastic tub?

Re: Tub and UTH Question
NO. Tubs will withstand heat but be sure you have it controlled with a thermostat or rheostat. Other wise you can cause a fire hazard if not controlled.

Re: Tub and UTH Question
OMG my gauge says the humidity is at 78%. The whole top cover is kind of fogging up. Is this okay? I also have about 10 holes the thickness of a pencil on the tub.

Re: Tub and UTH Question
add more holes. you do not want moisture on the sides ever.78% is okay when shedding other wise its a health hazard if at that level all the time. you want to shoot for a steady 50-60%.
are you using digital or dial to measure temps/humidity

Re: Tub and UTH Question
if your using them dial ones your humidity could be 10-20% higher or lower than what it is reading. you need digital. wall mart sells the digital all in one for $12.
