I promise, last time, NEW RACK (9 34qt Sterilite)
Ok Ive posted my progress through 2 racks, and my first one had so many flaws in design that I decided to create a new one that is more accomadating towards my growing collection. So here it is, my new rack.
Its pretty much taking this rack:

    Into this:
    http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._4413903_n.jpg

The whole build was done in my kitchen, as I live in an apartment.
    Materials-
2 4' x 8' Sheets of particle board or melamine cut into
10 17"x26" Polyurethane treated particle board shelves
( I originally had only 6 but cut down the sides of the original rack which were 35x26 into 4 new 17x26 pieces)

    4 1x6x85 Poplar
    2.5" wood screws

I also used the original base I had to keep the bottom level off of the floor, it measures 7 3/4".

So as I stated, I had to work in the kitchen as I live in an apartment. Hence the chairs used to hold up the poplar boards while I screwed them on

    The shelves.

    Boards put on.

Gauging spacing. Im using 34qt Tubs, and they have the locking lids so there's actually a bump where they clip on. To alleviate this I just put the tub sideways with the lid on and 4 CDs under that to get the right spacing.

All shelves in. I had enough space to put more shelves but I didnt have any more, and it wouldve been taller than I wanted it to be. I ended up sawing those pieces off. I recommend knowing your exact measurements before buying the poplar because it is sold by the foot.

    Putting the Flexwatt in.

    END RESULT

So total cost of everything....25 Bucks for 2 sheets of particle board. 62 dollars for the 4 pieces of poplar. Total 87 dollars on wood alone. Im very happy with how this turned out, and I plan on covering up the open sides with Pegboard, or maybe leaving it alone. It fits the 34 qts WELL, and also 41qts with the lids on, which Im going to do as I plan on using my other rack strictly for hatchlings as was originally intended. Thanks for looking, hope it helps someone someday.
