Can anyone recommend a good tutorial on how to set up a rack?
Okay, so my research the past two days has led me to believe that I need to go ahead and set up a rack. My new male is already in a tub on some shelves in a closet (the newly designated snake closet) with a UTH underneath. Just set it up, so I'm waiting for the temps to adjust. My females glass aquarium is finally heating up to 80 ambient, I moved the UTH from the side of the tank to the bottom. It's causing the glass to fog, though. I think she'd be better off in a tub. Now I need a good tutorial to go ahead and set up an efficient tub rack. I'd like it to look nice, too :) Clean lines, etc. I've never done any carpentry before, but I'm sure one of my coworkers could help me. Or can I just buy shelving at Target? Any suggestions? Or is there a sticky floating around on the site somewhere I missed? Thanks :)

Just made one almost exactly like this a few days ago. Cost, with heat tape: $200. Total time to put together: 2 hours.

    I ended up with 10x6qt sterilites, 2x28qt sterilites, 2x12qt sterilites, 4x41qt sterilites.

This is my favourite rack tutorial that I've yet to find. This site I find is generally good. Click on 'cages' and they've got a few more tutorials for racks of different sizes. I wouldn't call it pretty, but efficient and relatively easy to build.

There's nothing stopping you from replacing the wood with melamine which might look nicer. :)

The Jasons Jungle racks look nice. Might be worth the money. Certainly worth investing in one before I invest in a morph. Thanks guys!:)

I think I was comparing Jason's stuff with his and it came out his were cheaper since they included shipping.

Definitely! I like the cheaper prices :) Especially since I'm such a beginner...I don't want to get over my head cost-wise.:weirdface
