Bp hasn't pooped in 2 weeks

hey my ball python ate twice first second week but still hasnt pooped hmmmm why hasnt it pooped

that's perfectly normal for my BP

Kris, how old/big is this snake? What's it eating? What is your feeding routine as far as how many days between feeds? Has it shed recently or is it going into shed? Does it have access to fresh water at all times?

Mine often go more than 2 weeks without pooping, so I don't think that's unusual... Mona's only pooped once since I got her (almost a month ago), but it was one for the record books! :D:O

Mine has not gone to the rest room since I got him. It has been almost a month as well. I feed him every 5 days ( the shed cycle made him go off a day or two of feeding ) so now I am about to feed him meal number 4 since I got him. I started him off on hoppers but now I am feeding adult mice.

Ball pythons go when needed. When they poop less its a sign their absorbing the meal completely with very little left over.

My younger snakes poop about ever 4-5weeks

Did I mention my snake is getting huge in the short time that I have had it!:banana:

LMFAO, I went to go move my tub from my basement (due to humidity issues) to my bedroom and I open up the tub to re-attatch the probe only to smell a foul odor. I open up the cool hide and found a nice big poop, lol.

This has happened with my BP two times, and it's normal. What you can do is soak your BP in warm water which helps with bowl movements so while your BP is soaking it may defecate in the water. If you notice it defecating in the water, wait until the snake is finished then immediately take the snake out of the water and wash off the snake. You don't want your snake smelling like poopy water, do you? lol.
